The product compared is Tendium (tendium.com) , Stockholm-based AI platform for public sector sales, covering tender monitoring, bid workflow and Nordic market intelligence.
Bid / no-bid support belongs to Stage B when enabled; your team keeps the decision.
Our verdict · For a defence, security or industrial supplier bidding for public tenders
Viglia fits if your buyers publish in France, elsewhere in Europe, in the United States, in Canada or through NATO and the UN, and you want notices matched to your catalogue, analysed with citations and given a reasoned bid / no-bid call. Tendium keeps the edge if you need Swedish notices below EU thresholds, Nordic payment data, or AI help through to the written response.
Choose Viglia if
- your buyers publish on BOAMP, TED, Doffin, Hilma, SAM.gov or CanadaBuys, or buy through NSPA, NCIA and UNGM;
- keywords let through too many notices and your product catalogue should drive the screening;
- you want each requirement cited from the tender documents, scanned annexes included.
Keep Tendium if
- you need Swedish notices below EU thresholds, which Viglia does not read (it sees Sweden only through TED), or Tendium’s payment data, expiring contracts and incumbent insights for Sweden, Norway and Finland;
- you want AI drafting of bid responses from your content library, or a Tendium bid team to run the process with you.
Viglia at work
What Viglia does with a notice, step by step
For activated sources and accessible documents, Viglia relates requirements to your catalogue and links findings to the source document, including the passage when identified. Stage B supplies bid / no-bid support when separately enabled. The fictional example below illustrates the method, not an observed product execution.

Tendium and Viglia compared
The Tendium column only restates what the vendor publishes, or an absence bounded to the pages we read. The Viglia column describes the current commercial scope: Stage A by default and Stage B separately enabled when granted; roadmap items are never presented as available.
| Criterion | Tendium · public evidence | Viglia · current scope | What to check before deciding |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you are buying | One unified, AI-powered workflow to find opportunities, create bids and grow public sector sales, used by the customer’s own team. Tendium home page | An operated monitoring and qualification service: the work queue arrives filtered, explained and linked to each original notice. | Decide whether you want software your team drives end to end, or a service that delivers a qualified shortlist and analysis. |
| Where the depth is | Tendium says you can monitor tenders in all European markets relevant to you, while keyword search in documents and access to documents, updates and awards are listed as available in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Tendium Find | More than 200 official sources in more than 60 countries, across six continents: France, Europe, the United States (SAM.gov and several states), Canada (CanadaBuys, SEAO), Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, plus NATO (NSPA, NCIA), the UN (UNGM), the EU (TED) and the World Bank. In the Nordics, Doffin and Hilma are read directly; Sweden and Denmark only through TED, above EU thresholds. | Check which features work in your markets, not only which notices appear. Tendium’s document-level depth in Sweden does not exist on Viglia’s side, and Viglia’s reach beyond Europe is not described by Tendium. |
| How tenders are filtered | Tendium’s smart Tender Filter scans tender documents, sorts results by relevance and lets you monitor keywords in English regardless of tender language. Tendium Find | Filtering by product catalogue: each lot is compared with your products, capabilities and exclusions, with a profile, score and decisions per brand if you run several. | Give both the same offer description and compare what each keeps and drops on twenty known notices, including multi-lot tenders. |
| Bid or no-bid | The Smart Checklist gives the context to check off key questions and decide whether to bid, and Ask Louie answers questions about the tender documents. Tendium BidFlow | A reasoned bid / no-bid recommendation tied to your catalogue, with tender-document analysis and an exportable compliance matrix citing the source documents. | Check whether each answer points to the clause it relies on, and how each tool reports a requirement that is missing from the documents. |
| Writing the response | Tendium’s writing assistant generates draft bid responses from previous bids and company information stored in a content library. Tendium BidFlow | Viglia does not write responses or technical proposals and does not submit bids. | If AI drafting is a core requirement, Tendium documents it and Viglia does not offer it. |
| Delivery time | Tendium’s terms say tender information is provided within 12 hours to two working days of its accessible publication. Tendium terms of service | Daily review, alerts and digests, with deadline tracking for each tender on the shortlist. | For short-deadline procedures, measure the gap between publication and alert on real notices in your own market. |
| Pricing | Light from 125 EUR per month; Core and Scale on request and scaled to the number of bids per year; unlimited users on all plans. Tendium pricing | Pricing on request, set by the sources and scope operated for you. | Compare total cost for the same scope: markets, number of bids, add-ons and the review time left to your team. |
An AI workflow you run, or a service that runs with you
Tendium describes Louie, an AI assistant that ranks tenders by relevance, summarises them, answers questions and drafts bid texts throughout the workflow.
Viglia is operated: setup is assisted, a daily review produces an explained shortlist, and every score and summary cites its sources so your team can check before deciding.
Count who does the work in each option. With software, your team calibrates filters and reviews output; with an operated service, you review a shortlist. Both need a person to own the decision.
Nordic data depth versus worldwide breadth
Tendium says it holds 1.0 million active and previous tenders across Europe and 1,480 billion euros of payment data from Nordic public sector organisations.
Its public sitemap index lists English, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and German editions of the site.
Viglia reads more than 200 official sources in more than 60 countries, including Doffin in Norway and Hilma in Finland, reaches NATO and UN buyers through NSPA, NCIA and UNGM, and tracks awards, incumbents and framework renewals on those sources. Swedish and Danish notices reach Viglia only through TED, above EU thresholds.
If you sell mainly in Sweden, or need Swedish below-threshold notices and Nordic payment data, Tendium’s depth may be decisive. If your buyers are spread across several countries or bodies such as NATO and the UN, test coverage on your own buyer list before anything else.
Defence and NATO buyers need explicit confirmation
Tendium’s glossary has an entry on Norwegian defence and security procurement rules; no defence or NATO service page was found in its English sitemap. Confirm this scope with Tendium.
Official source: Tendium glossary: defence and security procurement
Defence, civil security and fire and rescue are Viglia’s specialisation, with NSPA and NCIA monitored alongside TED, BOAMP and UNGM.
Ask each provider for recent notices from the defence buyers you track, and check them against the buyers’ own portals during the trial.
Read the AI terms before uploading past bids
Tendium’s terms state that data you add to its AI features is used only to produce output for you and not to train or improve the models, and is deleted on request.
Viglia works from the tender documents within the configured scope and cites them; its analysis does not need a library of your past bids.
Whatever tool you choose, list what you will upload, who can access it and how deletion works, and get the answers in the contract rather than in a sales call.
Limits, reading date and corrections
This comparison is based on Tendium’s public pages, read without access to a customer account. Figures such as tender and payment-data counts are Tendium’s own. Viglia covers the sources it supports and agrees with each client. A Tendium capability we did not find may exist in a private offer: ask Tendium to confirm it in writing, and tell us so we can correct this page.
Read on: 7 October 2026. Offers, prices and public pages change. “Not found on the public pages we read” does not mean the feature is impossible or missing from a private contract: ask the vendor to confirm it.
A factual error can be reported through our editorial method and correction process . The page is updated from a verifiable official source.

FAQ
Can Viglia replace Tendium?
For finding, qualifying and analysing tenders and reaching a reasoned bid / no-bid call across more than 200 official sources in more than 60 countries, NATO and UN sources included, yes. For AI drafting of bid responses, Nordic payment data or Swedish notices below EU thresholds, Tendium remains the tool to keep.
When is Tendium the better choice?
When you bid mainly in Sweden below EU thresholds, when you want an AI writing assistant inside the same tool, or when Nordic payment and incumbent data are central to your bid strategy.
Does Tendium cover French tenders?
Tendium says you can monitor tenders in all European markets relevant to you, but several features are listed only for Sweden, Norway and Finland. Ask Tendium which French sources and features apply to your account.
How should I compare Tendium and Viglia?
Use the same catalogue, the same list of mandatory sources and a set of known notices. Compare recall, false positives, citation quality and the time your team still spends before a bid decision.
